Many developing countries have struggled to achieve sustained progress due to policies and programs that fail to address the actual needs of target populations. As a result, substantial financial investments have often yielded limited or no tangible outcomes. For policy decisions to be effective, policymakers and program planners must be equipped with accurate data, relevant knowledge, and the analytical skills necessary to translate evidence into actionable strategies. However, studies consistently reveal a significant gap between research findings and policy implementation, largely due to a lack of in-country expertise in policy research and analysis.

This pressing need has created a strong demand for credible, timely, and context-specific policy research. Recognizing this gap, the Center for Research on Education, Health and Social Science (CREHSS) was established with a deep sense of purpose and commitment to bridge the divide between research and policy, and to contribute meaningfully to national development.

CREHSS is dedicated to supporting government agencies, NGOs, INGOs, communities, and individuals by generating concise, policy-relevant evidence and strengthening their technical capacity in research and policy analysis. Through its work, CREHSS aims to foster more informed decision-making and the formulation of impactful, inclusive policies that address the real needs of the population.
