WHO ARE WE?

The Center for Research on Education, Health and Social Science (CREHSS) is an independent research organization committed to advancing knowledge and practice in the fields of education, health, and social sciences. Its mission is to support professionals and researchers globally in enhancing research capacity and generating evidence that informs meaningful change. CREHSS recognizes that evidence-based, need-driven policies are essential for the nation’s sustainable and inclusive development. To this end, the organization is dedicated to generating high-quality data and insights on critical public issues to guide sound policy formulation and decision-making.

Established in October 2018, CREHSS works toward the holistic development of the nation through impactful research. It operates in close collaboration with government agencies, NGOs, INGOs, community-based organizations, public institutions, and development partners. The organization strives to foster innovation and knowledge sharing through diverse research initiatives and partnerships.

CREHSS is supported by a team of young, dynamic, and highly experienced professionals—including educationists, health experts, researchers, and academicians—with deep expertise in education, public health, reproductive health, gender, development, population studies, and the social sciences. With a strong commitment to excellence and evidence-based advocacy, CREHSS aims to improve the quality of life for communities across Nepal by contributing to more effective and inclusive education and health policies rooted in rigorous research findings.
