For World Vision International Nepal:
CREHSS implemented the Technical Program Evaluations WVI Nepal Operating Area Project under World Vision International Nepal. The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the performance of the Technical Programs “Protection and Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (P&CESP)”, “Nutritional Resilience and Livelihood” and “Inclusive Quality Education” and their contributions in the area programmes (APs) in achieving the objectives set by all three TPs. The specific objectives were a) To analyze the changes against the indicators that are set for measurement of the TPs objectives and strategic objectives of WVI Nepal; b) To document the evidence of progress that is observed and reported by beneficiaries and stakeholders; c) To observe the impact of the project actions in the community and the target group of people through GEDSI lens; d) To assess the effectiveness and efficiency of core project models; e) To document the learnings and gaps to inform the new country strategy and program/project development; f) To analyze the sustainability of the programmes using drivers and indicators of sustainability; g) Understand how the programme or projects have addressed gender and disability inclusion during program implementation. This evaluation used a mixed-methods approach to assess the effectiveness, impact, and inclusivity of World Vision Nepal’s interventions across 16 districts and 26 Area Programmes, guided by OECD DAC criteria and integrating themes like GEDSI, disaster risk reduction, and environmental considerations. For quantitative, 13,135 households and 8,782 adolescents across all the 26 area programmes were involved. The study team designed the survey materials along with the survey design and conducted 280 Interviews, 72 Key Informants Interviews (KII) and 14 Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) while reviewing the Project. CREHSS has prepared a report, research brief and conducted sharing of the findings.
